An incredible recreation of a blade pulled from the renowned Sutton Hoo archaeological dig. Amazingly, the find was not reconstructed using fragments, but rather pulled wholly as a complete, albeit rusted, piece.

Our recreation mimics the broad and slightly tapering blade, beautifully decorated hilt with stiff leather grip and brass highlights and wooden rimming. Our blade also features a wooden scabbard wrapped in leather, traces of which were discovered surrounding the original find.

Deepeeka claim this weapon is battle ready, but we are yet to fully test it here at Medieval Fight Club. We recommend further rounding of both the tip and the edges before use in reenactment.

Wonderfully detailed sword. I waxed the wood with a lebalm product included in my order and it looks even better.
