Essential piece of kit everyone should own... An essential piece of kit for everyone. It offers sufficient rigid protection against moderate thrusts when worn by itself, and takes the sting out of slight cuts.

However where it really shines is when used underneath but in conjunction with the MFC Sword combat sports jacket or equivalent, then you can start taking some serious hits.
