Brigg Mitten Gauntlets - HMB (black)

These fine mitten gauntlets are very strong and light. They are designed for full contact sports level. Made of tempered spring steel lames and covered in leather to allow for maximum movement and single plates offer the best protection because of the distribution of force. These gauntlets offer the best compromise available.

They have no historical source but are designed to be anachronistic and will fit in periods where little evidence of hand protect is available. These are compliant for HMB / ACL heavy combat but would also be suitable for re-enactment and SCA combat.
